I can't stop reaching for Craft Consortium's Over The Hedge collection. The paper includes satin finished and textured papers that I just love. This week's Make and Take card came together in no time using a a stamp set by Memory Box, Tonic's Nuvo sequins, and a basic leaf punch. I water colored the bird with Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Watercolor Brush Pens, which I am absolutely addicted to and use often. The best price on these is by far found on Amazon. They are expensive but totally worth it when you see how the colors pop and blend like a dream!
I would also like to share a great little tool set recommended to me by a friend. These little orange handled pick tools are amazing because they have 4 different head shapes and cost only $2.00 at your local Harbor Freight. They make picking up adhesive backing or placing tiny embellishment bits like sequins a breeze. Every paper crafter should have these in their toolbag.
I hope you enjoy the project and find some inspiration in the images I've shared. I would love to hear your feedback, and be happy to answer any questions you might have. Please leave your comments, I'd love to hear from you!
